Stories convey the heart and soul of your company; they demonstrate the essence of a project; and they communicate in ways that a marketing piece can't. Stories are also a powerful way to bring new staff into your company culture.<br><br>When I'm doing a presentation, I always try to start with a story or interesting factoid. You are right about jokes being too risky.
