What Does Memorial Day Mean To You?

As Americans around the world will mark Memorial Day today, I thought it would be interesting to look at this holiday through the eyes of a young American girl.

Regardless of one’s position on combat and war, it’s refreshing to watch the reflections on a holiday that, like many others, has been co-opted by commercialization.

No matter what your nationality, you quite possibly feel the same way about your armed forces.

So to all of them: thank you.
