Getting Your Ecommerce Business Started

by Shonali Burke on February 18, 2011

If you missed our monthly Twitter chat earlier this week… fear not!

We had a good time, as usual, and this month, tackled a subject that many of us are probably curious about, but certainly don’t know enough about:

Since more and more business is being done online, including service transactions, we thought that would be interesting. And who better to talk to us about ecommerce than Stella Fayman, WGB’s resident blogger on the topic?

Some of the questions Stella tackled were:

  • What do I need to get setup accepting credit cards at my business?
  • How do I compare offers from different processors?
  • What is a gateway and when do I need one?
  • Why shouldn’t I just use PayPal?

She also shared a ton of additional blog posts and links, all of which you can browse through at your heart’s content when you download the transcript of the #wgbiz Twitter chat with Stella Fayman. Good stuff, eh?

By the way, don’t forget that Network Solutions – our host – can get you started with ecommerce packages if you need help… so check ‘em out.

Happy weekend!
