#wgb TwitterchatMarvelous Women In Business chat, as usual

On the second Monday of this month, we had our  Women Grow Business Twitter chat at noon, the regular time.

Though of course there was nothing regular about it at all. It was a very lively chat with a lot of participants we haven’t seen before or don’t see often, which is always lots of fun. Our topic was how to get started building a fiercely loyal community.

Which came in handy since that’s what Sarah Robinson, our guest expert, was there to talk about! She’s currently writing a book out it called  “Fierce Loyalty: Unlocking the DNA of Wildly Successful Communities”.

You can get a free excerpt called “The ROI of Fiercy Loyalty” on her site.

Chat Highlights

One of her most popular answers came about halfway through the chat. You can see the question and Sarah’s answer, below:

Schedule conflict cause you to miss the chat? Did you come late or have to leave early?

Have no fear.

As with all our chats this year, we have both an online and a downloadable version of the chat for you to keep forever. Download the PDF version here or view it online. If you’d like the ability to sort the tweets chronologically, you can also download it in Excel format.

Attend the Next Women Grow Business Chat

Every second Monday of the month at noon, the Women Grow Business community has a Twitter chat. We usually have a guest expert, announced on our blog prior to the chat.

Our next guest, Dr. Letitia Wright  (@DrWright1) is going to teach you how to crowdfund your business. If you need an influx of cash for a project or to launch, you won’t want to miss the September chat.

To be reminded when the chat is approaching, sign up for free on our Eventbrite page.

How do you follow The #WgBiz Twitter chats?

  1. Log into TwitterTweetchatTweetgridTweetdeck, or any other Twitter tool that lets you isolate a hashtag.
  2. Follow our Twitter hashtag #wgbiz. (In Twitter you can use the search at the top of the screen, in Tweetchat or Tweetgrid, once you’re logged in, you’ll see an area for you to enter the hashtag at the top of the screen. In Tweetdeck, you can create a column that searches for that hashtag)
  3. Arrive as early as 11:45 a.m. to introduce yourself, send us a link to your site, and share your latest project, as well as to meet the other chatters.
  4. Make sure you’re following the host, in this case me (@wbgiz is the official channel, while @Tinu is my personal handle), and featured guest(s) if any. This way, you can easily follow the conversation, send questions during the chat, or follow up  later.
  5. Have fun! :) Our twitter chats are meant to be educational, sure, but also lighter fare than a teleconference or webinar.
