Two More Small Business Forum Live Events Coming This April #smb

by Tinu Abayomi-Paul on April 17, 2013

webdotcomtourThe Nationwide Small Business Forum tour, with business and marketing experts from Web.com and SCORE, makes two more stops this April, in Valdosta, Georgia on April 25, and New Orleans, Louisiana on April 26th.

Each of these free events commences at 8 am local time, and should last approximately two and a half hours.

(No need to stop for coffee and bagels on the way either – they’re serving breakfast!)

As the dates get closer, we’ll post additional reminders with full agendas for each event separately. But now is a great time to plan to attend either of these events. Especially if you’re planning to go with a group, this much advance notice gives everyone a chance to coordinate schedules.

The focus of the Small Business forum is to help small business owners who are new to marketing on the web, as well as those who have some intermediate knowledge. Topics covered will include answers to the following questions:

What are the elements of a great website?
How do I increase traffic to my website and to my business?
Is my website “working” for my business?
How do I market my business on Google, Facebook, and Twitter?

If you’d like some free expert advice for getting better results out of your website – or are just getting started with your web marketing strategy – you’ll want to RSVP to the Georgia or Louisiana event as soon as you can – seating is limited so you must RSVP, you can’t just show up the day of the event without registering in advance.

Not going to be in Valdosta or New Orleans? The Small Business Forum is touring nationwide!

To find out when they’ll be in your neck of the woods, visit the Small Business Forum page, and click on the “View All Dates” link below the next three upcoming listings pictured under the map. All of the events are free, and even include a few goodies. Just remember that you MUST register to attend.

Each forum is just a few hours, a worthwhile investment to learn more about how to get more done with online marketing resources.
